Center for Urbanization and Regional Innovation Pole Development（CURIPD）

The Center is a top think tank jointly established by China Association for Science and Technology, Chongqing Municipal Government, Chongqing University and Sichuan University in 2020.

The Center focuses on the urbanization strategy, the development trend of regional innovation, the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing twin-cities economic circle. It relies on the organizational advantages, expert strength and research foundation of China Association for Science and Technology, Chongqing Municipal Government, Chongqing University and Sichuan University to build an open, inclusive and collaborative innovation mechanism. CURIPD carries out extensive talent attraction and training, academic research, international exchanges, policy consultation and scientific and technological services, striving to build a leading think tank and innovation platform for science and technology in western China. It aims to contribute wisdom to promote the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing twin-cities economic circle, regional innovation coordination, and urbanization with Chinese characteristics.
